Dining
Our single-level floor plans lend themselves to easy mobility for our residents as they visit with friends and family, and dine and attend activities in the dining room.
Our beautifully decorated dining and activity areas provide our residents with safe and comfortable settings in which they can relax, revitalize, and share special moments while staying in the comforts of home.
The delicious aroma of home-cooked meals prepared by our dedicated food service staff invites residents to socialize and dine within a family setting.
Our dietitians take great ride in preparing delicious meals designed to meet the dietary and personal needs of each resident.
We strongly believe our residents benefit greatly from socializing with their peers while they dine our beautifully decorated dining room. We are also supportive to those residents who may require our personalized room service. Friends and family are always welcome to join their loved ones for a home-cooked meal.
Rehabilitation
Our compassionate, friendly, and professional staff includes certified physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as social workers that are specially trained in geriatric care. Staff members work directly with residents, family members, and personal physicians to preserve the highest level of resident dignity and independence.
We take great pride in our short-term rehabilitation program. Participants in this program are our “guests”, as they stay with us temporarily. Our therapists, along with each guest’s personal physician, create individualized programs designed to meet the rehabilitative needs of each participant, and maximize his/her full potential, with the goal being a return to an independent setting.
in order to maintain our exceptional level of quality care, our staff members participate in ongoing training programs and health-related seminars within their respective fields.
Our carefully selected team of professionals is ready 24-hours-a-day to provide our residents with the skilled services they may need. We are dedicated to ensuring that the needs of our residents, as well as their family members, are being met.
Recreation
Our residents experience the delight of new friendships, interests, and enthusiasm as they participate in a variety of social ad recreational activities designed to enhance their well-being. One of the primary goals of our activities staff is to discover ways to enrich the lives of our residents so they may continue to feel challenged, active, and involved.
Among many of our popular social activities are outings to restaurants, shopping, and concerts. Residents enjoy arts and crafts, pet therapy, bingo, picnics, holiday celebrations, and much more. Our residents take great pleasure in participating in our resident gardening club. But the fun doesn’t stop there for our residents, as they are full of smiles and laughter when they get together for our food club activities.
Cultural and religious services are also provided.
Adjustment
Adjusting to a new environment isn’t always easy. We are sensitive to this, and while we hope our living environment is warm and welcoming, what says home more than something personal and familiar? Although our resident rooms are fully furnished, our resident are welcome to bring familiar items with them, such as photographs and other special mementos to help create a feeling of home.
Cable television service and phone service are conveniently available in each resident room. We furnish all resident bedrooms and restrooms with a special nurse call system to reassure our residents that personal assistance is immediately accessible.
